Book Two updates

The first version of book two is now complete. Now comes the harder part - giving the content to my alpha readers who blast through a first reading and then tell me where I need to develop (or cut) to keep the story flowing. This book, admittedly, was a challenge for a few reasons. For starters, all of the initial 'getting to know' the main characters was already done (in book one) so there wasn't as much frivolity in that regard. Finding things to keep Barue laughing is also a challenge (though not a bad one!). But mostly, this book takes a more serious turn as it sets us up for the action required in book three.

Regardless, I'm glad the initial draft is complete and I look forward to the guidance from Jess and Daryl as they tell me where to add, where to remove, and sometimes flat out tell me I didn't make sense! (Sadly, they're right when they say that, too!)
